Taken from the inner thigh, topside is a lean and beautifully structured joint known for its fine grain and full, traditional beef flavour. With gentle marbling and a firm texture, it roasts exceptionally well and delivers tender, flavoursome slices when cooked slowly and rested properly. A classic Sunday favourite elevated by quality beef.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Roast (From Ambient)

  1. Bring to room temperature for 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 190°C.

  2. Lightly oil and season the joint.

  3. Roast in the centre of the oven.

Timings:
Medium: 20 minutes per 500g
Well done: 30 minutes per 500g

Rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.
